All Star Legacy Cheerleading and Dance offers cheerleading, tumbling, and dance classes for children ages three and up and a competitive cheer program for ages six and up in a 12,000 square foot facility. Tutsi Rolls, a parent/child class for children 18 months through age four, is a biweekly open gym where little ones can play around on the equipment, including a moon bounce, tumble track, air track, and more.

Arlisa Hagan's Georgetown Volleyball Camp is designed to improve the fundamental skills of volleyball: serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Three summer camps are offered - youth, beginner, and advanced - allowing every camper to learn at the appropriate pace for their skill level.

The Youth Day Camp is designed to introduce girls and boys between the ages of eight and 13 to the game of volleyball. The fundamental techniques of the game are taught in an age and skill appropriate manner by the Hoya Staff. Lunch is provided each day. Campers also receive a youth sized t-shirt and a volleyball for participation in camp. Camp dates for 2008 are July 14-18.

The beginner and advanced camps are for girls ages 11-18, and are available as commuter or overnight camps. The Beginners Skill Camp is for players with limited or no volleyball experience. Each skill is taught in depth in both individual and controlled game situations. The Advanced Skills Camp is for players with one or more years of varsity or club volleyball experience. Campers are trained in the same manner as the Hoyas, by Hoya staff and players. In addition to the skills of the game, campers work on team defensive and offensive systems. Ashburn Ice House offers public skating and lessons for all ages - including a Mommy/Daddy and Me Tot Skating Class, as well as myriad ice sports. This rink features two NHL Sized ice rinks, professional-style locker rooms, a pro shop, a state-of-the-art fitness center, POMODORO Pasta, Pizza, & More restaurant, the Mezzanine/Viewing Lounge, a dance studio, and a video arcade.

Sports International's Brian Mitchell Football Camp is a one-week, intensive training football camp offered each summer. Players are evaluated on the first day and then assigned a veteran coaching staff to ensure individual and team instruction on both offense and defense. The goal is to give each camper the finest football instruction available and a program they will never forget. There is individual instruction for quarterbacks, running backs, centers, linemen, ends, wide receivers, linebackers, special teams, and secondary. For the past 26 years current and former NFL players have attended and worked every football camp sponsored by Sports International. Cabin John Regional Park is 528 acres of possibilities. Children of all ages especially love the playground and the miniature train, but families can also picnic, hike, and camp. Flying Kick Fitness Center is a family-owned and operated martial arts studio providing Tae Kwon Do - the Korean art of self-defense - and martial arts instruction for families and children ages three and up.

The Center teaches the forms and techniques of traditional Tae Kwon Do as well as Olympic-style sparring, emphasizing the five tenets of Tae Kwon Do; Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control, and Indomitable Spirit. Proper training in Tae Kwon Do improves balance, coordination, muscle tone, and flexibility as well as increases focus and concentration. Owned by the National Park Service and operated by Friends of Fort Dupont, the Fort Dupont Ice Arena is the only public indoor ice rink in DC.

In addition to regular public skating sessions, the Arena's Kids On Ice program offers free Learn To Skate classes to area youth (ages five and up). Learn To Skate takes skaters from beginning through intermediate Basic Skill levels. Freestyle level skaters may join the Kids On Ice/Advanced Skills Clinic (after evaluation by the Skating Director).

The Kids On Ice program also includes ice hockey (KOI Hockey Club) and speed skating for children (ages seven and up) who have already acquired intermediate skating skills. Private instructors are available for lessons during Fort Dupont's public skating sessions.

Lessons are offered over the summer too, as well as a couple of summer camps - Summer Skating School and Fort Dupont Summer ICE Camp. The Kettler Capitals Iceplex offers lessons, public skates, adult leagues, and ringside seats for Washington Capitals practice sessions on two NHL-sized rinks.

One of its most well-known programs is the Brown Spices doll-making workshops, which are actually week-long camps teaching kids how to design and create their own patterns, work a sewing machine, and create their own dolls from start to finish. These workshops are offered several times during the summer.

Another popular program is called Diana's Dreams (or Recreation vs. Re-Creation), and offers free Saturday morning tennis lessons throughout the year.

The Tucker Road Ice Rink is open year round. The facility includes the rink, a warming room, a party room, and a spectator viewing room. Rental skates are available for all general skating sessions. Wakefield Skate Park, located next to Audrey Moore RECenter in Wakefield Park, is Fairfax County Park Authority's first skate park. Local skaters played an important role in the decision to construct the skate park, as well as helping out in the design phase.
