The Family Resource Center (FRC) is located on the 5th floor near the train elevators, and provides information and support for patient families, including an extensive collection of books, pamphlets, and reference materials. It also provides a place for families to have a quiet moment away from the bedside. Unique services and facilities include parent massage, vending area with free coffee and hot beverages, computer workstations for email and internet access, laundry and parent sleeping rooms for intensive care parents. The Children's Resource Line offers nurse consultation and information on a wide variety of health topics, including family and parenting issues and special needs children.
