Federal Way Norman Center YMCA offers features an outdoor sports arena, playground, fenced grass play area, a natural pond, woods with walking trails, and a large facility that hosts childcare, sports, camp, and specialty programs.

Great Play is a children's gym that offers classes in motor skill and athletic development for kids ages six months to 12, private classes for grades K through five, and birthday parties. Check the website for program details.

The Green Lake School Age Program offers an after-school program and summer Kung Fu camp for kids. Instructor J.B. Lunon brings over 36 years of teaching experience, in both martial arts and theater, and is an inductee into the 2007 International Black Belt Hall of Fame. The program strives to teach kids how to make disipline fun.

The Green Lake Small Craft Center at the southwest corner of Green Lake Park offers a variety of youth and adult canoeing, rowing, sculling, and sailing classes and day camps, during summer and after school. Classes are for ages 11-17, with a few exceptions.

Interbay Golf Center is located in the Interbay area between Ballard and downtown, offers a heated driving range, nine-hole golf course, mini-golf putting course, private and group golf lessons for all ages, and summer camps. The Interbay Cafe serves burgers and sandwiches and is available for birthday parties.

Located at West Woodland Elementary School, Kids Inc. is a nationally accredited child care center offering full- and part-time preschool programs, a pre-kindergarten program, before and after school programming, and a summer camp.

The summer day camp offerings include theatre, kayaking, digital animation, web design, culinary arts, baseball, basketball, soccer with Skyhawks, biking, arts and crafts, and swim golf week.

Lake Union Crew has programs for all levels of rowers - from beginning to experienced - at its junior summer camps. Camps are coed and open to teens ages 12-17. While it is recommended that participants take one complete session, they may mix and match weeks from the three available sessions to work around vacations. The only prerequisite is that brand new rowers complete Week 1 before continuing with subsequent weeks. Rowers may also sign up for the entire summer.

Before- and afterschool care, toddler programs, ballet, gymnastics, music, t-ball, and summer sports camps are just some of the programs available for youth at the Loyal Heights Community Center. The summer camp programs offer theme programs for every day of the week.

MVA offer children's programs at Marymoor Park on the Eastside,

Through the Velo Kids Program, kids ages nine to 17 are introduced to track cycling basics and track racing by experienced coaches and national/international level bicycle racers. No previous experience, other than the ability to ride a bike, is necessary. Sessions are held throughout the summer; classes meet for three weeks. Each session culminates in a competition on Friday night, under the lights at the Velodrome. The program is free. Track bicycles are provided, although riders have to bring their own helmets.

Pee-Wee Pedalers (ages five to eight) play skill-building bike games and must bring their own bicycle and helmet.

Kiddie Kilo bike races are held every other Friday night, where kids get to race on the track for fun.

Metropolitan Gymnastics offers a variety of programs and gymnastics classes for preschoolers, homeschoolers, and kids of all ages who want to participate in a recreational program or be part of a team.

The gym has a giant foam pit, giant climbing toy, slides, ropes, ladders, preschool equipment, circus equipment, a tumble tramp, and state-of-the-art training equipment. Gym staff members offer experience in early childhood education, as well as gymnastics.

Preschool classes include songs, games, and age-appropriate activities and circuits to keep children active and invlolved. At the end of each class, children get 15 minutes of free play in the PrimeTime play center.

Gymnastics classes for older kids introduce the gymnast to positions and skills on all of the Olympic apparatus, as well as the trampoline. Students work at their own pace as they become more aware of their bodies and begin to build strength and balance.

Sports Adventures combines basic ball handling and coordination skills with the sport of gymnastics. Kids test themselves on the cargo net and ring tower or swing on the rope over the pit.

Circus Arts is an introduction to a variety of disciplines including tumbling, acrobatics, juggling, unicycle, stilt walking, and aerial arts, including rope, hoop, trapeze, and tissue.

Open Gym consists of two hours of free play time with plenty of room to run, jump, climb, and practice skills. Members pay as low as $3 per hour.

Birthday parties are 1-1/2 hours in length and include your choice of structured gymnastics or supervised open gym. Parties start with a warm-up and continue with games, an obstacle courses, and more. The birthday child receives a medal or trophy and a t-shirt.

The Kids Summer Yoga Camp mixes games and storytelling with the physical postures of yoga and promotes the development of strength, flexibility, and body awareness in a non-competitive environment.

Northwest Double Dutch classes promote focus, teamwork and cooperation while teaching kids double dutch jump rope. Classes and teams form every month and are available for kids ages eight and up at all skill levels.
