Metropolitan Gymnastics offers a variety of programs and gymnastics classes for preschoolers, homeschoolers, and kids of all ages who want to participate in a recreational program or be part of a team. The gym has a giant foam pit, giant climbing toy, slides, ropes, ladders, preschool equipment, circus equipment, a tumble tramp, and state-of-the-art training equipment. Gym staff members offer experience in early childhood education, as well as gymnastics. Preschool classes include songs, games, and age-appropriate activities and circuits to keep children active and invlolved. At the end of each class, children get 15 minutes of free play in the PrimeTime play center. Gymnastics classes for older kids introduce the gymnast to positions and skills on all of the Olympic apparatus, as well as the trampoline. Students work at their own pace as they become more aware of their bodies and begin to build strength and balance. Sports Adventures combines basic ball handling and coordination skills with the sport of gymnastics. Kids test themselves on the cargo net and ring tower or swing on the rope over the pit. Circus Arts is an introduction to a variety of disciplines including tumbling, acrobatics, juggling, unicycle, stilt walking, and aerial arts, including rope, hoop, trapeze, and tissue. Open Gym consists of two hours of free play time with plenty of room to run, jump, climb, and practice skills. Members pay as low as $3 per hour. Birthday parties are 1-1/2 hours in length and include your choice of structured gymnastics or supervised open gym. Parties start with a warm-up and continue with games, an obstacle courses, and more. The birthday child receives a medal or trophy and a t-shirt. Parents Night Out and Shop 'til you Drop offer nights out or shopping time while the kids play and eat pizza. Additional programs include gymnastics for cheerleaders, adult classes, and summer and holiday camps. |

The Center offers rowing, sailing (ages eight and up), sailboarding (ages 10 and up), canoe, and kayaking classes and hosts two regattas: the Tri-Mountain Rowing Regatta in the fall, and the Seattle Sprints Regatta in April. Youth adventure camps are offered in summer for kids ages 11-16. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, rowing, sailing, sailboarding, outdoor swimming at a lifeguarded beach, environmental stewardship activities, hiking, and tennis. |
