VITAS Inovative Hospice Care offers support and assistance to terminally ill patients and their families. The company offers a range of unique volunteer opportunities for compassionate and creative individuals and families, some of which can be completed right in your family's home.

Craft Volunteers create home-sewn items such as lap blankets, afghans, pillows, and other useful items. Fabric and stuffing can be provided. New craft ideas are welcome.

Memory Bear Volunteers create stuffed bears from fabric obtained from a favorite piece of clothing supplied by the family of a former VITAS patient.

Other opportunties include visiting patients, delivering holiday gifts, office and clerical work, and more. Families can obtain more information on volunteer opportunities through the VITAS website or through their local VITAS office.

The Florida Research Institute for Equine Nurturing, Development & Safety, Inc. (FRIENDS) rescues and provides care for EIA (Equine Infectious Anemia) positive horses and works closely with veternarians who are helping to develop a vaccine for EIA, a blood disease that affects horses but is not contagious nor harmful to humans.

Families can work together to assist with feeding, watering, stall cleaning, and other types of horse care, or can elect to financially sponsor a horse's care.

First-time volunteers must complete and bring volunteer forms to the ranch during their first visit.

Like the colored paints on an artistic palette, Educational Counceling Specialists recognizes that all learners have a set of unique and colorful attributes. ECS identifies your child's attributes and establishes their individual learning needs.

ECS works with children, adolescents, and adults, but concentrates on students in their primary or secondary stage of academic life. Typically, these students are in Kindergarten through 10th grade and ages five to 16 years old.

The service provides a customized Personal Chef experience and caters to every diet including no sugar diets, low carb diets or any other dietary preferences. DBD offers a premiere service that brings groceries into the home, prepares savory and mouth watering dishes, serves the meals and/or packages up the meals for later use and then cleans up afterwards.
