Baltimore Polytechnic Institute offers Baltimore high school students an excellent college preparatory program through its A and B Courses which emphasize science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The Montessori School, established by the Montessori Society of Central Maryland, Inc., was founded in 1962 by a small group of parents dedicated to providing a Montessori education for their children and is accredited by the American Montessori Society and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Viewing education as an aid to life, as a process, the school believes its role is to preserve and nurture childrens' natural curiosity and to help them develop an openness to the limitless possibilities of life.

Three age-based programs are offered during the school year: a Toddler Program for ages two to three, a Primary Program for ages three to six, and an Elementary Program for ages six to 12. Three two-week summer sessions are also offered for ages six to 13 and include activities revolving around recreational sports, history, computer, cooking, arts and crafts, and music. Chesapeake Martial Arts, Inc. teaches Tae Kwon Do to children and adults. It also hosts birthday parties plus runs spring and summer break camps and an after school program.

American Kenpo Karate Studio programs include Lil Dragons, Children, Teens, and Adults. American Kenpo Karate Studio teaches Ed Paker's Kenpo Karate System, the "ultimate in self-defense." The studio also hosts birthday parties plus runs summer camps and a before- and after school program with time for homework and a snack as well as lessons.
