Baskin-Robbins and its 31 flavors have been around for a long time. It has never tried to be fancy, which is one reason we like the ice cream cake. It's good, basic, reasonably priced, and ready for pick up any time. One particular favorite is the mint chocolate chip ice cream and oreo combo. B-R can decorate a cake on request.

CakeLove bakes a tempting array of goodies from all-natural ingredients every day. While cakes are the specialty, the bakery also produces mouthwatering cupcakes, brownies, eclairs, and more - not to mention some fun creations like Buzz Balls, Crunchy Feet, and Bedrolls! Cakes can be ordered in advance and can also be delivered with advance notice. Although the bakery doesn't do custom decorations (each cake has it's own decorative style), it will do personalized inscriptions at no extra charge, and also does wedding cakes.

This frosty franchise, known for its commitment to world-wide social causes, turns out dairy confections like no other. With funky names like Chunky Monkey and Wavy Gravy, this honest-to-goodness ice cream is worth its weight in flavor. Sold in regular cones, waffle cones, and quarts.

You can also pick up an ice cream cake (or order in advance, if you have something special in mind), or try the sundaes, shakes, and fruit smoothies.

Music Together of Charm City is a music and movement approach to early childhood music development for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their parents and other primary caregivers. It is based on the premise that all children are musical and have the same innate ability to learn music as language.

Classes are 45 minutes long, and include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play (two take-home CDs and songbook are also included). Three different classes are offered: Infants, recommended for new parents of infants birth through eight months; Mixed age class, appropriate for parents/caregivers and children birth through age 4; and 4s/5s, designed especially for older students who have been in Music Together for several semesters and are ready for something a little different.

The Singing Toad Photography Studio is a full service studio, offering in-studio and on-location photography at great prices.

Kids 'N' Clay offers after school and Saturday wet clay classes (wheel throwing, hand-building, and sculpting) for kids three and up, birthday parties, paint-your-own ceramics, infant hand and foot prints,summer and school holiday camps and workshops, "Mommy & Me" events, and more.

Amer's Cafe offers a tempting array of American, Mediterranean, and Egyptian cuisine, including calzones, pizza, kabobs, pasta, salads, and more. Kids can make their own 10" pizza - roll the dough, choose and put on the toppings - and watch is cook in the wood burning oven.

Pizza parties for kids include getting to make their own pizzas (complete with apron and chef hats), decorations, cake, ice cream, and balloons.

Adventure awaits in Baltimore's inner harbor, where Urban Pirates hosts interactive pirate adventures that include dressing, talking, and singing like pirates; searching for sunken treasure; and blasting enemy pirates with water cannons! A great birthday party idea - or family outing.

The Irvine Nature Center offers a wide variety of nature programs (for schools, school groups, adults, children, and families), summer camps for kids age two through grade nine, and birthday parties (both on- and off-site), and houses a museum, live animal exhibits, a hands-on Kids Korner, and a nature store. Outside the Center are picnic tables and an approximately one-mile, single loop trail. An interpretive guide is available explaining the significance of signs along the trail. Note: the trail is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
