The Susan Adler George/Theatre Project hosts workshops and summer camp programs for kids in middle school.

The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Artsy Class for Little Kids in Baltimore, Arts n' Motion offers a curriculum in the arts designed to provide children from infants to teens with unique creative experiences that emphasize fun and learning. Through group classes in the disciplines of dance, early childhood music and movement, and art it encourages creative exploration in a non-competitive atmosphere that fosters self-confidence, self-esteem, and independence.

Founded by a collective of nine ceramic artists in 1978, Baltimore Clayworks showcases renowed artists as well as offers educational programs for children and adults. Learn how to work the pottery wheel, create a self-portrait with a tile mosaic, fashion polymer jewelry from beads and clay, and make African masks and Japanese tea bowls. Afterschool courses and one week summer camp programs teach diverse and creative ways to work with clay and other materials. Baltimore Clayworks is a non-profit organization formed to provide hands-on arts programming to all, including the underserved urban population.

Founded in Philadelphia, the Paul Green School of Rock Music is the original performance-based interactive music school, informed by the idea that the best way to learn is by doing.

Students play instruments from the beginning, with other musicians and on genuine equipment, while learning how to rock. Lessons culminate in rock-n-roll concerts in front of an audience in authentic venues, complete with light shows and stagecraft.

Roam Druid Hill Park with over 2,700 amazing animals at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore (formerly known as The Baltimore Zoo). Summer camp is offered for children entering grades three through nine. And birthday parties are held April through October on Saturdays and Sundays and must be reserved a minimum of a month in advance.

iD Tech Camp is a week-long, day and overnight program for kids ages seven to 17. Campers build robots, create video games, design websites with Flash, film digital movies, and learn programming. Special teen programs include iD Gaming Academy, iD Film Academy, and a Study Abroad program in Spain.
