[Submitted by Anonymous - This is such a great destination for kids aged two and up. The trails right around the nature center are nearly flat, you'll likely see rabbits, lizards, birds and bugs, and the plants and trees are marked. When you get tired of being outdoors, head inside for the small but well-planned children's room, which has reptiles and amphibians in terrariums to study, a little puppet and book nook, and drawers kids can open to find snake skins, butterflies, pine cones, etc. The guides at the center are always very helpful, and there are water fountains, clean restrooms, and a picnic patio. Ask to meet the resident patio tortoise!
